PRE-ORDER Cambridge Edwardian Bicycle Boots (Brown/Plaid)

These boots look gorgeous, even with modern clothes. They give the vibe of riding boots (or so I have been told), so they should fit sporting gear well, too.
They walk well on dirt, gravel and cobblestone, even when it's raining. I haven't been able to test them on snow yet, but they are a delight to cycle with. As one would expect from bicycle boots, but it had to be mentioned.

I have had issues finding tall boots that fit my calves, but these do fit - the smallest possible lacing and belt notch, but they do fit! Because of this, I have to circle the shoelaces around the calves before actually tying them, but it this works well for me.
However, the belts are a small issue, since they stick out quite a bit if worn on the last two notches. A loop to secure them closer to the calf, similar to the ones seen on waist belts, would have been nice.

Over all, I am extremely happy with this purchase, and I hope to wear these boots for years to come. My local cobbler will have a new customer when they will eventually need new soles, that's for sure.

They are beautiful. Combination of leather and canvas look and feel good. Adjustable with the laces. Comfortable fit. Highly recommend these boots.

The boots look absolutely stunning and are incredibly comfortable. I was a little worried about the canvas material at first, but so far they have held up great in the wet winter weather.

However, given the high price point of the boots, I expected more of the quality. The outer canvas material seems to be cut slightly bigger than the lining material along the back of the boots and the two layers are also not glued together properly, because after just a few times wearing the boots, the outer fabric and the linig started sperating along the back of the calf portion and now create a weird bubbling effect whenever I wear them.
